Thought I might start posting some pictures from my home. I don't know about you but I love looking around peoples houses, at the decor and what interesting things they have. They are often a good reflection of their character. My home at times can become a bit chaotic in places as there always seems to be lots going on, things being made or boxes being moved in or out to a fair or our stand at Daventry.

Starting with the smallest room in the house....the small decorated canvas is one that I made, the cherub was from a boot sale.

The mirror was from a boot sale and the little wire holder was from Homesense, sometimes you  can find some unique bits and pieces there.

The wallpaper is called'Vintage' from B&Q, my daughter chose it for her bedroom and we decided to carry it through.

Some vintage cups that I use to keep cotton wool and bits and bobs in.

We opened our Pigeonhole display with a pink and blue theme, we have now had a total change of stock to gold, amber and green....If you are near Daventry pop in for a mooch, there is a tea room as well. Linda x

The excitement is building for the Vintage Jumble that is going to be held on Saturday. We have been sorting and pricing, everything is going to be very cheap on our stall, we need to clear out, the house is bursting at the seams!

Prices on our stall will start at 50p!

Although I have the feeling we will probably end up doing a bit of bargain shopping ourselves........

Hope to see you there  Linda xx

Last Friday afternoon we packed up the car and headed over to The Pigeonhole Moot Hall Daventry. It houses a lovely collection of vintage, antiques, art, craft, photography , jewellery and more, all for sale in lovely surroundings. We have now got a small space there,  I decided to start off with a pink and blue theme.....

It's adding to our workload , but we were impressed on visiting the Hall and thought let's give it a go.
We still have another fair to go to before Christmas, My Little Vintage at All Saints Parish Hall in Earls Barton, Saturday 3rd 11-3pm (they are hoping to open a bit earlier10.30).
Some pretty coloured glass that will be coming with us...

Some great costume jewellery that I found difficult to get a decent photo of. I took photos inside and out, I'd be grateful of any photography tips of how to stop the glare from the stones...

Enjoy the weekend. Linda xxx

The sun was shining as we made our way to the second Blighty Boutique Vintage and Handmade fair in Warwick .It was a great day thanks to Amy, Annie their family and friends who put in a lot of hard work .
We managed to fit a lot on our stall...

...and were happy to come home with a few empty crates.
This is the lovely stall of Jo of Hesta Nesta, there are always several items of beauty on her stall. I would have took more pictures of others, but chatting prevented that, as before I knew it , it was opening time.

During half term we enjoyed a break in Whitby, we had lovely weather and stayed in a cottage next to the railway, we couldn't have asked for a better view.

The view from the 199 steps up to the Abbey

Very atmospheric

The unbelievable sign at the station...

Mr.TabbyRoo enjoying a steam facial...

We managed a little vintage spotting...

Enjoy the rest of the week-Linda xx

Yesterday Mr.TabbyRoo and I headed off to the cotswolds to set up our stall at the Cotswolds Vintage Fair. It's our third time at this venue and we still got lost on the way! We set up our stall with not a lot of time to spare, so only time for a quick look round at the beautiful vintage and handmade that was on offer, there was vintage spanning the eras and the handmade lovelies on offer were gorgeous.
It was a brilliant day, and unbelievably busy, especially when the coach party dropped by! A big thank you to Ali for all her incredible hard work.

The view from the rear of the hall.

I sold a few of my altered bottles so think I will have to get a more ready for future fairs, I enjoy making these and love rummaging through boxes of stuff, some of which I've had for years. I knew it would come in useful one day !

I didn't get a chance to chat to stallholders and fellow bloggers  during the day( I know that is not the objective, but it's always good to catch up!)as it was so busy, nice to see Tonia-Poppycorkhill  who had and interesting stall next to us.Hopefully get the chance to see some of you at our next fair which is in Northampton...

Enjoy the bank holiday weekend Linda xxx
