Hooray! At last I have managed a new post, I have been trying all week but have had a gremlin in the works and not been able to upload any photos until now...

Last weekend was a great time for buying 'vintage treasure'. A lot of the boot sales we visit are coming to the end of their season now, probably just as well, the house cannot contain much more. Last week we managed to fit in two car boots and spotted a jumble sale on the way to my mums. A few treasures to share...

Some Brooke Bond tea cards, especially love the detail and colours on the bird ones

I did buy this pretty jug to re-sell ...

But will be keeping this lemon juicer, the glaze on the squeezy bit has become wonderfully crackly

This little stand is by no means vintage, but I thought it was too good to pass by- especially for £3. I thought it would be good to display things on and hang from at vintage fairs.

A great roll of vintage wallpaper. As I unrolled it I discovered a lot was offcuts but they will be useful for lining suitcases etc. I can always find a justification for what I buy! and there's still a decent roll left underneath.

A clutch of linens and some handmade clothes, my girls were not pleased about the clothes, they think they are a bit creepy

This is another that I have to keep and treasure. I had this book as a child and loved it so much.

I haven't stopped picking it up and enjoying the beautiful illustrations.

Have a good weekend, let's hope it's not so wet Linda xx

  4. Hello! I met you at the Cotswold Vintage Fair, I bought one of your gorgeous cushions and a little deer from your stall! I'm not sure where you are based but I was wondering if you would be interested in a stall at our Vintage Fair which we run in Bath - the next one we have a space for is on Sunday 12th December in the centre of Bath. You can see more at www.itsdarlingfair.co.uk or email me at purplesparklecrafts@gmail.com
