I haven't managed to blog for ages as my dear mum has not been well at all. I went to stay with her for a couple of days, and just  as I was getting ready to leave she collapsed and we had to call an ambulance. Mum stayed in Milton Keynes hospital for nearly a week and all the staff were fantastic- a big big thankyou to them!!  Mum is now glad to be home, and even managing to get to grips with her new cordless phones and a microwave, it's been very worrying interspersed with lots of humour. It made me a bit reflective and I found myself looking through my tin of treasured photos.
Mum far left, Dad and my glamorous Grandma who worked in the fashion industry, can't remember who the other two ladies are, must find out.
So now I really need to get a move on and get ready for the Northampton Vintage and Homemade fair this saturday 12-4.  Debbie and Ann always do a great job in organising this event and there's a lovely atmosphere.
These plates will be coming along, plus the floral Alfred Meakin ones.
The picture my eldest daughter wants to keep for her bedroom when it is 'vintage style'.How pleased am I that one of them is growing to love vintage-lots!
Eldest daughter also quite likes this tin so it also might have to stay home.
But not to worry I've got lots of lovely vintage to bring along, can't wait to start sorting. Hope to see you there Linda xx

  2. Glad that your mum is feeling better. I like the old b & w photos. Btw, love your 70s finds in your earlier post. Jealous of those lovely trays! I'm a big 70s fan! Hope your vintage fair goes well.
