I did say on my last post that I would share some pics of new 'vintage treasure', so here they are...

A set of Ainsley bowls, I love the depth of colour

Plates all bought at different times but all green and pink, a classic combination I think

A pretty trio of jugs, again all bought at different times, do you ever find that, you start buying something and then lots appear?

This fawn picture is tiny but so sweet
I can't remember Boots having a picture framing department?
Have a lovely weekend Linda xx.

  4. Lovely finds Linda, I have vague recollections of having a vintage picture framed by Boots also, perhaps years ago they did much more than they do now? Have a great weekend and see you soon.

  5. I love the Ainsley Linda and yes you are right about buying one thing and then seeing it all over the place. I wonder though if it is our mind playing tricks and we are subconsciously seeking them out. Have a good weekend x

  6. The bowls are lovely, and you are right about pink and green being a great combination. I think Boots once had an enormous picture framing department that was in existence from the early 1900s certainly through in to the 1960s. I have come across quite a few lovely Boots prints particularly Margaret Tarrant prints as well as some much earlier including a Mabel Lucie Attwell.

  8. Your Ainsley bowls are gorgeous; what lovely colours! I know what you mean about seeing the same thing everywhere. Lately, I keep seeing (and buying!) yellow utility china - and a while ago, I never saw yellow at all. Very strange.

  10. Lovely treasures! Gorgeous little perfume bottles, and yes, agreed that once you buy one thing they just keep appearing to tempt you and before you know it you have a collection! I can't seem to stop finding and buying those little 60s bud vases with a bubble base.
